I have a problem. 
I have been well liked all of my life, and I have a lot of friends. I’m outgoing and like to have fun. 
I’m a flirt 
and I have more guy friends than girl friends. This sometimes makes some gals not like me very much. (This isn’t usually isn’t the case once they get to know me.) Maybe I just get along with guys better 
, idk. Anyway, sometimes I feel like the most popular, yet the most hated. My best girlfriends and I have been joking about it since high school. Anyway…I am a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. So automatically, that makes a lot of people have an opinion of me. Suddenly, I’m grouped in with a bunch of crazy beer can throwin’, Jeff Gordon booin’, only like Dale Jr. cuz of Sr. freaky NASCAR fans. 
Well…I’m not any of those, ‘cept maybe a little freaky. (Shhhh…. Don’t let the not booing JG thing get out… that might be held against me in Jr. Nation. 
) Several people talk about how they are tired of hearing about Jr. I get that. I was tired of the Jimmie Johnson show at the end of last season. 
I have lots of friends, online and offline, that cheer for different drivers. I know Tony Stewart fans, Jeff Gordon fans, Jimmie Johnson fans, etc. We all have the love of racin’ in common. One thing I have found is that we all think that our driver is the most hated. I even heard Tony & Jimmie saying something about it and defending their fans once or twice to the media. It seems to me as a Jr. fan, that I see or hear a lot of the negative stuff about him. So I think that it is just our nature to be sensitive to those so called “haters”. My friends and I love to give each other a hard time smack talking each other’s drivers, all in good fun. Dale Jr. is arguably the “most popular” driver. I don’t think that’s disputed. He’s popular for a lot of reasons. He has a lot of fans who are fans of his because of his dad. He as some fans because he’s young, good looking and single. He has some fans because he is a successful race car driver. All Junior fans are not created equal. We don’t all throw beer cans. We all weren’t Dale Sr. fans. I have a question…Why do the people who are tired of hearing about Jr. continue to bring his name up? Doesn’t that make him more popular, getting his name out there even more? IDK? I like to have a lot of fun with my friends here. We joke about my upcoming wedding to Junior and my obsession with him. 
I think most people that know me, realize that its part of having fun with friends, and that I am a race fan for more reasons than just stalking Jr. I just wanted to put that out there for people new to the site, or those that might not know me as well. Do I have a point to this little story? No, not really. Maybe just that being the most popular, yet the most hated might be another thing Jr. and I have in common. And…I just wanted to see another Jr. blog! Stay Gold!
