I have spent most of today being angry at reality! 
A crappy start to the New Year, you might say. (Thank you NASCAR buddies who have provided me with laughs, smiles & cyber (((hugs)))
) I overslept. I got some bad news in the mail. I lectured my kids about how they don’t help out enough around the house. I complained about how my husband annoys the hell out of me! Then, just now… I got a phone call. One of my Sunday school teachers that volunteers for me here at the church, lost her battle with cancer. She has two sons who are the same age as my girls. She has been so incredibly sick, and I know that she is finally at peace. But wow… talk about reality! Duh! She never gave up. She continued to teach her Sunday school class of 4th graders no matter how sick she was. On December 16th , she insisted on entering with her class during the processional with everyone else. She was able to see her son play Joseph and sing an amazing solo. God willing I am going to be able to hear my girls sing many times for many years to come. I guess my year isn’t going so bad. Please include Carm and her family in your prayers. And give your kids a hug! ~Miss A

I am so sorry to hear of your loss…I will most definately keep Carm’s family and friends in my thoughts and prayers. Cancer does have a tendency to put a new spin on things when it rears it’s ugly head…
I am currently losing my battle with it also thanks to no insurance…but God willing, I will eventually win the war…

Enlightening
Certainly not a way to start the new year. Our hearts go out to the family and children. Lost my sister in July to cancer. Puts your life more in perspective and realize it’s the love we have for each other that really matters. We feel for her children. In our thoughts and prayers….
