*_I promised to update you all about the first competition…i wasnt planning on it but when I got on the stage I decided to dedicate the song to my sons friends who didnt make it back from iraq. I said this is for TYLER and JAMES STRYKER BRIGADE. I sang AMazing grace slow and sweet for them, what I didnt know was while i was doing this TYlers family were holding a memorial in another state it had been on yr since this 20 yr old hero had died fighting for our country. I did my best and recieved a ton of compliments when I got off the stage. My hope was that TYLER and JAMES heard me sing for them in heaven. I found out today I didnt make the cut for the next competition so guess I wont be at the coca cola 250 in daytona, i am very disappointed I wanted to show a military face for all the families with kids fighting the war.
