Thanks everone
He is 14 years younger than me and lived with me after our Dad passed till he joined the Marines, so I feel almost like he is son and a brother. I just can’t explain the joy after all this time that I no longer have to worry about something happening to him. All I can say is thank you God. Thank you thank you thank you!

Tell your little brother from one marine to another, I said Semper FI. I was a corporal 1986-1991. Glad he is home.

all he wanted to
talk about, was NASCAR. He said that when he was in the “sand box”, he would pay guys a hundred dollars to take his shift so he could catch just a half hour of the race. That right there made me feel so pathetic I did not even know what to say to him.
he is the one whom got me “really” into NASCAR. Our Dad passed September 2001 and I let him live with me for awhile. He showed me a dvd about Dale Jr. that showed him when he was a little kid and Dale Sr. looked so much like our own Dad it was unreal.
I immediatley became a Jr. fan and it has brought me and my little brother closer because of it. He even told me that NASCAR was a big escape for him and his buddies over there.
Anyhow, sorry for rambling, Im just so happy I don’t know what to do!

I am so happy to hear that they made it home safe!! As an Army wife I know how stressful it is and it will be along time before he has some kind of normal life back in the states.. But I wish him luck and I am VERY happy for you and your family.. My husband will be going on his 3rd tour in Iraq in 2009.. So all you troops and family of troops, THANK You for everything you do!!
