I was awakened to the sound of hail hitting the hotel window around 3:30 a.m. A big-time storm, with heavy rain and lightning. Of course, everything’s bigger in Texas.
Right now, the sun is trying to find its way out of the clouds, but it’s cool, cloudy and very windy.
The track is drying nicely and I can hear engines firing up in the garage area, in preparation for today’s practice.
