At least Mother Nature put us out of our misery early, since there had been a late Nationwide Series practice scheduled.
That allowed folks like Jeff Burton and his wife to enjoy a nice, quiet dinner at a local restaurant. Not a single person came up to the couple to ask for an autograph, probably a welcome respite for someone who is instantly recognized in any of the former Confederate States of America.
Have a good night and let’s hope for a little less talk and a lot more action on Saturday from Fontana.
