lLake Speed's Breaks
In the last paragraph, first page, of your article about Lake Speed, he said he had to jam on his “breaks”. No wonder he won…if he’d stepped on the brakes, someone would have passed him.

Nashville Fairgrounds article
Hey Mark. Thanks for the article on the Nashville Fairgrounds. My father used to race there back in the 1950s. I’ve tried to find out more information about any races he might’ve been in… any pointers? Thanks!!

I too think the loose cap was on purpose and the win should have been taken away plus lose a spot in the next race
