My prediction: Jr. isn’t going to win this race. In fact Jr. isn’t going to win for a while! Wanna know why?
1) Crew Chief is an idiot
2) He is not his father
3) He’s lost his edge (due to over exposure by media and crazed fans)
It was never really the equipment at DEI. You can blame that for the engine failures but how about all of the other races when he just didn’t get it done? You can make all the excuses you want but he’s just not the driver you all want him to be. I’m sure he’s having a good ol time at HMS with the equipment they have to offer. How do you think Mears felt after coming from Ganassi? Now I do like Jr. for what he means to the sport and all but as far as on the track…I’m still not impressed even with the new team.

Definately not his fault!
What could he do? Punch a reporter or break a camera. No that would lead to more coverage. I think the question the reporter “wants” to ask is The guy you replaced is killin’ what’s up with you? Until he starts winning they are going to be in his face. Then they, the media, will move on to the next guy “not” living up to the hype. I’m glad everyone agrees. Next subject!

If he gets the win, then cool, let the media have their day. But if he doesn’t , let the media talk about who actually won. Like I said, I have no beef with Jr, just all the media hype about everything but winning.
I mean come on, they’d do a story about his favorite underwear color before they covered a story about a scientist finding the cure for AIDS or the common cold!

gets a win soon. If he does not and still is the most popular driver and still gets all the media coverage….Im afraid it may cause some people irreversible harm.

what is it called when somebody is so obsessed with someone or something that they cannot comprehend that society may not feel the same way? Its sooooo ingrained into their thought patteren that the very idea that oither people feel differently is met by extreme denial and desperate attemps to rationalize any reason to assume that all people feel the same way? What is that word?
