We have a little saying here in MT ‘If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes.’ Let me explain what this really means. Last Friday 50 degrees, Saturday 68, Sunday and Monday low 70’s, Tuesday 49, Wednesday and Today mid 50’s, Tomorrow 69, and Saturday 60.
Now here’s the real kicker Sunday 32 with snow accumulation by Monday 45.
Please note the highlighted days had winds over 25 mph and the rest of the warmer days hardly any breeze at all. With the wind, those days were more like mid 30’s with the windchill.
MT is a wonderful state to live in but I guarantee that this time of year you just cannot trust the weather at all and it totally sucks.

that is where my daughter lives. South east of Flint in Grand Blanc. She is lucky, they don’t get lake effect snow. During the winter they may get some snow every day but it usually doesn’t amount to much. That said, now that hubby and I are getting to “retirement age” she is suggesting we leave the very expensive DC region and move near them! As much as I love my daughter and grandkids, the idea of being in the cold north just doesn’t do it for me! This afternoon, when we chatted in the phone it was about 80* in DC and only in the low 50*s in MI.

The real bummer
I spent last weekend cleaning out all of my flower beds and now I gotta be concerned with all of my upcoming plants freezing.
The good news
I’m gonna get some fertilizer on the lawn Saturday and all that moisture should really help the grass.

I know what you mean. We are supposed to get snow in the Seattle area and I agree it like totally SUCKS!
