I wrote a blog earlier today about the reasons why you should send a mass PM with a link if you want people to read and comment on your blogs.
As a follow-up, I did a test. I sent a mass PM with a link to my Lynyrd Skynyrd blog I wrote yesterday. And guess what? A lot of people did not see it because it’s now a few pages down on the blog list. And guess what else? I got some really cool PMs from people about it too. I’m jumping and “Movin’ On” with great enthusiasm to my next Classic Rock & Roll project. Thank you all.

You lost me on “mass PM?” I completely agree that my worthy blogs are not getting out to be read. That was the main reason for NASCAR’s Coldest Water Cooler, yet I still get very few comment and that I enjoy reading what others have to say. I guess I’m focusing on the wrong part of the community. And just be content that a few are taking the time to read, comment and vote on my blogs. The crew will grow and I’ll be able to tell which crew members do take this to the next level and not use to try to make friends only. My hope is that my time isn’t just wasted, because I spend time to write. Writing doesn’t come naturally to me so I have to put a lot of effort into my blogs.

was great Karin…...Second helpin is still one of my favorite albums…....”i need you” & ” ballad of Curtis Lowe” my 2 favotite songs on it. I went to New Orleans…..July 17th 1976 to see them with ZZ Top in Tulane Stadium…....someone served the Skynyrd boys Jack Daniels for breakfast and they were too drunk to show up, that was my last chance to see them before the crash…....Although ZZ Top played for over 3 hrs. to cover for them and they were awesome…..I still wanted to see em live once
