on my kitten, Jr. I was able to get him into the Vet and after X-Rays the vet told me he has a broken Femur, a clean, straight across break. I asked how? he said “someone has kicked him, or hit him with a stick, straight at his leg with an intent to injure.” I asked him how he could tell that, and he just said “trust me, I’ve seen it before.”
I am going to have my kitten get his surgery to repair the break. He will likely become an inside cat. The vet said he had never seen anything like it. While he was examining Jr and checking the leg that is broken, I was cuddling my kitty on his blanket. Jr was purring and remaining calm, not scratching, clawing or biting because of the pain. The vet says he is “one of a kind” and I agree.
So thanks to all of you who included him in your prayers. He will be fine.

up Jr from the Vet’s in about half an hour – he will stay cooped up for two weeks, but should be good to go soon!! Thanks for your concern everyone

all my friends!! He should just be getting out of surgery now so will go see him shortly when he wakes up. I was with him when they put him under, so he was relaxed and “very happy”,
Unfortunately, it seems we have a little pet beater in our neighborhood. The neighbor’s dog had his back broken the same way.
You have all been so awesome praying for my little Jr, will you please add this tortured soul? Something must be going on for someone to be acting this way. Thanks to you all and I will let you know how my Jr makes out. I’ll post pictures this evening if I can.

Poor Jr! I hope everything goes well with his surgery, but if he is as cool and sweet as you say he is than he can tough it out! Poor kitten… Probably a Jimmie Johnson fan… LOL I AM SO JK!!!
Anyways, glad to hear he’s ok! Go get ‘em Jr!

that is heartbreaking to hear that someone intentionally tried to hurt him. I will never understand what possesses someone to abuse an animal. Great to hear he will be okay and I’ll keep the little guy in my thoughts!
