I watch almost everything nascar realated. Practice, Qualifying, the race, and so on. Lets face it, i have no life. I have accepted that. lol
Something I have noticed a lot this year is the referring to the cars as special. For instance the announcers will refer to Kasey Kahnes car as the Budweiser Special…or David Ragan as driving the Roush Racing Special.
My question is why? THis happens a lot. Im my opinion, its to not mention sponsors or the car brand. Some people may say that they are trying to mix things up, but they use the word a lot.
IDK, just wondering what others think?

Rusty has his
moments. I wonder what goes thru his mind when he watches Steve tear up a car?

ikr
seriously. plus i dont like the idea of announcers who also own their own team. But, i will say that of all people, rusty wallace does a good job of not favoring his team.
