Was feeling pretty good after someone approached me in the media center during the recent two-day testing session at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and said he had read one of my books and really enjoyed it.
“You going to be here for the All-Star Race?” he asked. “I’d love to get you to autograph it.”
It was a nice boost to the ol’ ego - until Saturday evening, prior to the All-Star event - when I ran into the same guy and asked him how he was doing.
“Great, Tom. How are you?” he replied.
Tom? Who is this Tom guy, and what books has he written?
