Memorial Day Weekend is a time where I reflect on what’s going on around me, not just the physical, but the spiritual. I take time out for family and friends and I am truly thankful for those who have given the ultimate sacrafice for me to enjoy the simple and not so simple things in life.
I pay tribute to my Great Grandfather Nixon was a WWI Vet, my Grampa Howard who was a WWII Vet, and Grampa Dutch who was a Koren War Vet. Their great courage and fearlessness is been enbedded in me and I will always keep them in my heart. Thank you always.

A heart felt blog from an American is always good to read! I am a Navy Veteran, one of my Uncles is a WWII Air Force Vet and another is a Viet Nam Army Vet. I think more people in our Country should think about those who have served our Great Country and helped us maintain our freedom!
Nice to see another Californian on here too!
