Earlier there was a blog posted about the hatred on this site. I feel this hatred is caused by approximately five members I will refer to as Radical Fans.
These 5 fans seem to think their driver is perfect, can do no wrong, and is God’s gift to Nascar. It seems that the goal of these members is to make live miserable for anyone who doesn’t fit their idea of the perfect fan.They will ridicule other members for disagreeing with them or not liking their driver. They will post one or two sentence blogs all day, singing the praises of their driver, and will constantly remind us with comments that their driver is the one everyone should love! They will whine and cry if someone posts a negative blog about their driver. They will also have a fit because Nascar.com allows crews for people who hate their driver! But it was OK for some of them to be members of hater crews last year.
The same thing happened on here last year with the Jimmy and Jeff show. Certain fans made sure they dominated this site with crap about how great and fantastic their drivers were. Jeff and Jimmy aren’t doing so well this year. Jimmy has one win; Jeff has none.
These fans have finally shup up or have left the site. Great! The bad thing is, they caused some very good members to leave also. And some of these good members were Jimmy and Jeff fans! Too bad. Many of them loved being on the site, but couldn’t put up with the abuse anymore.
The current crop of newbies and radical fans are doing the same thing. But it’s much worse than last year.
Every dog has his day. I can’t wait for the current dog to grow up, mature, lose the attitude, calm down and learn to respect his fellow drivers. I wonder if his fans ever will.

Seems “some” fans THINK they can type, but they cant READ, have NO HEART nor RESPECT…
We are all fans of NASCAR, its their certain attitudes of lacking RESPECT that make these RADICAL fans stand out.
Unfortunately I believe that is their intent…to stand out.
I say ignore the ignorance, dont feed the fire and with no attention they will fanish. POOF!

Just wanted to say that you hit the nail on the head. I wasn’t here last year & have not experienced any hatred yet but as a Jeff Gordon fan, I have heard all kinds of insults thru the years. I could care less because I refuse to lower myself to that kind of behavior. I respect all drivers & would never intentionally hurt anyone’s feelings over who they choose to cheer for. To each his own. I love Nascar, period. Isn’t that what we’re all really here for??

The person below me
is the very same person who said: “it was just a bump, Sterling.” The bump being Dale Earnhardt. And that is just one example. Good to see that she is trying to change her ways but I say looks like a duck, walks like a duck, it’s a duck.

Great Blog.
I almost lost it on here yesterday!!!
This one sentence blog junkie hit a nerve.
I know we all have our days where; are brains don’t connect to our fingers.
And it is like our fingers take on there own personalities; and just type any thing they want to. And then the little digits need a time out.
It is ok to have favorite driver and it is ok to say hey look my driver is better then yours na na Nana
But to start an all out war over a driver is just silly.
And that is what is happening in here now.
And you are right there is only about five members that try to draw blood.
You know I am not a Kyle fan and I have never been a Kurt fan.
I have never put up a hate blog on Kurt or Kyle. I do comment on some of the blogs about Kyle. And I know my sense of humor can be a little dark.
But most of the time I am just kidding around.
I would never try to hurt any one.

I don't think
it’s certain drivers fans in particular just certain type fan personalities. With more members will come more personalities like that and I wish you the best of luck trying to out wait them maturing. I don’t think my patience is that good these days and life is short.

The basic point I agree with
however I see both drivers certain fans on this incident causing the problems. That’s why I’ve been trying to stay out of it.

I’ve had this blog rolling around in my head for quite a while. I really had to tone it down so it would meet the Community Standards!
