He's Baaack!

Sunday August 24, 2008 @ 10:04 AM EDT

Denny really put his foot in his mouth last week, but as always, great teams rebound from adversity. After an opportunity to sleep on his words, Denny quickly realize the error of his ways and retracted his statements after Michigan. His team pulled together and put together a fantastic run at Bristol. I’m not sure what happened in qualifying, but the car was great from the start of the race. That boy can drive a car! He may not be as good as Carl or Kyle right now, but he IS in the chase and deserves to be there.
For all the people that call him a whiner or a baby, I guess he is crying all the way to the bank. One think that all great drivers have in common is passion. What exactly defines “whining”? Is it complaining? Is it the tone of your voice? I haven’t seen a driver yet that hasn’t complained about something or sounded disappointed after a race. Are they all whiners? To the accusers, examine your own life. Are you a whiner? Does calling someone else a whiner make you a whiner?
Everybody tells the drivers to “shut up and drive”. Should we just “shut up and watch”?
