I never cared anything about racing or NASCAR until a couple of years ago… I turned on the TV and there it was… lol.. I’ve been a fan since then.. My husband is not interested in it. How do I convince him to try??? I was hooked from day 1! I had to take a friend to Talladega with me instead of him… Maybe he will come around later.. When I leave his A$$ at home every weekend… lmao

welcome sweetheart! Keep after him, he’ll come around. What guy does not like a ton of speed, a V-8, and raw horse power? Besides, he ought to be tickled he has got a wife that is such a doll, and and likes Nascar too… hell, that’s a great combo! Like I said, he’ll come around, don’t push, let him come, it’ll work, he’ll think he is doing it himself…lol, us guys are funny like that! Later cuteness, take care, and good luck!

Beginnings
I got started because I was hired at a Lowe’s Distribution Center, and they sponsored Jimmie. Besides, I was sick and tired of the “super sized” egos, and all of the steroid allegations in stick and ball sports. I’d rather watch 43 guys run around in circles at 180 miles per hour than watch 22 overweight guys on steroids chase a ball that doesn’t even bounce right.

My Wife used to be the same way as your hubby! I’d be watching the race and she would say “what do you see in this?” She sat down and watched it with me, Carl Edwards won that race…. He did his flip and she was hooked! (on NASCAR and Carl)
Then I took her to her first race @ Michigan in 06. Now I can’t get rid of her!!! LMAO… She went to 3 with me this year

One look
No kidding – I hated Nascar for many years until JJ came on the scene and I went to my first race in 2002. From then on, the rest is history!

I used to laugh at my wife
for watching Dukes of Hazard and Nascar. When she got into a race pool, I sorta watched to see how she was gona do. That was the last couple races of ‘04. Daytona ‘05 was when I knew I was hooked. Now I just make fun of her for watching Dukes of Hazard!( not gonna change on that one!)
