Well the rain started about 9:30 last night and gave the Talladega area a good soakin’. However, waking up this morning, the rain was gone and things were drying up.
It’s 1000 here at the track and all is good. The track is dry, it hasn’t rained in hours and hopefully it stays that way until the checkered flies.
I won’t lie…the skies are gray and it has that rain feel to it, but something tells me all will be good around 1 p.m. here at ‘Dega!

It looks to me like even if they do get a shower, it’s not going to last long. Those green areas on radar are moving pretty fast.
