Well Ladies & Gentlemen, get ready for JUNE 6th. If you think Fox too many and untimely commercials, get ready for the real “Commercial-Interruptus”. The equivalency of premature{well, you know} for NASCAR broadcasts. Thankfully it’s only for 6 races. They do have some good feature stories, but will they do better at showing more of the races they cover. This remains to be seen.
If anyone else has any thoughts on this, please chime in.

You are Right Commercials are a REAL PAIN, but TV has to Pay the Bills!
So Do What I do , I Just USE the REMOTE to switch channels when Idiot Time is On ( thats what i call Commercials) or i just hit Mute and Put The Jams ON til the Race is Comes Back!

Its all about money
This is how they make there money. More commercial and less races. They need to show the race in the corner of the tv while they still have the commercial on the tv. I just watched a sports show that the station did this with or maybe it was dish tv not sure but is was cool everyone wins in this situation.

TNT....ABC...ESPN...FOX...Oh My....
I am one of those who yells at the TV and correct the commentators when they incorrectly say which driver is on the track and get can’t a sponsor right. And PLEASE don’t get me started on commercials, we miss so much good racing! TNT is the worst. The summer months is a sad stretch when NASCAR is shown. My favorite races, (MIS BABY) are shown on TNT and this year I can’t be at the track and have to watch them on the TV…I guess I will see a lot of Pepsi commercials this summer!

ABC does split screen real nicely..
..Maybe TNT should give them a call. I thought it was acceptable too WooHa and a great idea ontop of that.

But y’all have to admit, Nascar has better commericals, than the Super Bowl last year’s sucked if you ask me.

Feel lucky ya get to watch the race, some peeps (like me) don’t have cable and lose visual and have to tune into the radio and the scanner.
/
I don’t have cable cause if I did; I would skip my softball games(second love to racing) to watch the races.

SPLIT SCREEN?!?!?!
I remember they used to “experiment” ,
when the y went to a commercial, They would keep the race in a split screen, volume down, commercial in other.
That was acceptable, I thought???

I hear ya about the commercials…I know they are neccassary evil in broadcasting,but man they sure over do it…TNT is the worst by far as they have more advertising dollars needed.By the way i’m a Mt. Sinai native…go strong island!
