Man, I know there a lot of people out there that hate ABC’s coverage of NASCAR, but this weekend it sank to a new low for me. I was up at the enlisted club watching the race with my wife, when their awesome “Draft Tracker” popped up, and started clogging up the screen with those computer animated squigglies (now in 3 different colors!). Not two seconds later, one of the three ladies at the table behind us says (I kid you not) “Look! They’re flying streamers from the cars! That’s so cool!” I didn’t know what to say to that, but in the immortal words of Mr. Engvall, “Here’s your sign.”
