haha ok…

sooooo friday, may 25 was fan appreciation day at evernham motorsports!

and it was abso-freakin-lutely UH-mazing!

Lauren and I left home around 11:30 pm thursday night

wristband pickups began at 7:30am and there were only 400 per driver so we wanted to get there extra early

we actually made really good time..it’s supposed to take about 3 1/2 hrs to get there…we got there in 2 1/2 HAHAHA i guess im meant for speed!

ok well we got to STATESVILLE in 2 1/2 hours..it took us another hour to find evernham because mapquest screwed me over for the 2nd time haha

it told us to find a street that DOES NOT EXIST! haha

so we ended up 10 miles out of the way…we turned around and found a gas station where a cop car and an ambulance were sitting with the lights on..
we found another cop and flagged him down

he told us someone almost got killed on that side of town and we needed to go ask someone on the GOOD side of town for directions

so basically i ran a red light because it was taking forever and we were scared out of our minds…i dont think the cop cared too much haha

so anyways we FINALLY found evernham…turns out we were right near it the whole time and mapquest lied..ill sue haha jk

so we get there and get in line..its about 3am and its FREEZING!!!

we had tiny little blankets haha

um..BRRR

so we were like in the first 100 people which was great

lauren slept..i was too excited!!

about 5 am they pulled a kasey car out of the garage and i about flipped! haha

finally it was almost wristband pickup time, so lauren and i took turns going to the car to change..

keep in mind, its DAYLIGHT NOW and there are people EVERYWHERE…and we are changing clothes in the car HAHAHAHAHA

no one got a free show, if you must know lmao

so we got our wristbands then took off to the other lines and got all of them haha…we looked like rainbow kids HAHAHAHAHA

we walked around goofing off and taking pictures with the cars for a while

then i remembered kasey was on stage…we RAN down the hill

he and elliot sadler were on stage talking..and i SWEAR kasey looked RIGHT at me…i hope haha

so then they are being escorted off the stage..and kasey is like high fiving and shaking hands with fans…he did with the people right before us so he didnt really have time to get us because he was walking so fast..but he kind of turned back and touched my hand and lauren’s arm! AHHHHHHH it was uh-mazing haha…

thennnn…we got in his LONG freakin line and waited..and waited and waited and waited haha

FINALLY we got through the door and i about LOST IT haha

he was signing the people’s stuff in front of us and he just looked up with those BEAUTIFUL EYES and my jaw dropped…lauren was like HE MAKES MY HEART GO LIKE THIS she pounded her chest lol

we got to him and i couldnt even talk

this was me:
“i..eh..uh..ah..i..uh…i wanna take your picture, but i dont wanna be weird!”

and he was like “its ok”

and i was like “o..ok” and took a picture of him..I MEAN COME ON..DID I HAVE TO BE SO NERDY?! GEEEZZZZ lol

so we go out the door and go back to the lines to meet other drivers…we got in boris said’s line and met him reaaallly quick haha then i turned and looked at kasey’s table and as we were walking by i swear he looked AROUND the other fans at his table and looked directly at me..wow..um..what do i do?

ALMOST RUN INTO THE DAMN WALL!!! lauren had to snatch me away right before i did…and some cop was checking us out..then he laughed at me haha

then we went through elliot sadler’s line and met him..he was funny..then kasey looked at me again…he needs to learn he cant be doing that to me…lol

so yeah i that wasnt the end of our day…but its the end of my kasey-ness

and needless to say..it was UH-mazing
