Umm, ok...
So where is your source getting his “facts” from, specifically?

TO JPMRace2Win
That fairly reliable source has been around me all my life, and I have yet to find him wrong on his facts, especially when it comes to NASCAR!!

Clarification...
The only instance where I think this argument would have any basis in fact would be at ‘Dega last year. NASCAR mandated a final drive gear that had all the cars running in the 7000-8000RPM range. It was mentioned by a lot of people that the Toyota engines produced more horsepower at that RPM range than the other manufacturers because of a wider power band, which would explain two things. #1 being the Toyotas looked strong at Talledega last year, and #2 NASCAR mandated a new final drive ratio this year that brought the engines back above 9000RPM, probably coupled with a slightly smaller restrictor plate opening to compensate.

TRD
Is very capable of making a motor produce more than you think….
And I have heard the same thing from a couple friends from Carolina

Umm...
Every car on the track in a sprint cup race is running a naturally aspirated 358 cubic inch pushrod V8. If Toyota can squeeze out 30 more horses than the Chevy, Ford, and Dodge engines, I say good for them. That said, I’m about 99% positive that your fairly reliable source is fairly full of it.

Yeah but, Kyle used to do that last year
The thing was his tunnel vision got the best of him.He still cant deliver in the end.
But what if its not starting with more , just ends with more because its a bit more durable? Besides, if it ever got out(hmmm) the fan backlash would crumble the sport!

CAtfish this is where you and I see differntly
Toyota’s have something!!! Cant say what I know or how( NUNYA )! But to watch Kyle…Go from Rear to front in under 20 laps is way beyond anyones driving skillz with out an extreme motor! since no one else can! The other thing is with to much power and not being able to handle it they hit the wall loose grip like everyone else..So to much power can be a bad thing also till they learn to control it
