Oh what a feeling
Hey Carl Edwards fans & Ford fans. Quess where the Ford Fusion is built. MEXICO!!! The Fusion is built on a Mazda platform (Japanese). The 4 Cyl.engine is built in Mexico AND the 6 Cyl. engine is made in the U.S.A..The transmission is 100% Japanese. The Camry is more of an Ameican car than Ford, Dodge or Chevrolet.
I work at a large Ford dealership in So. Calif. and it says on the window sticker how much of what comes from where on all vehicles.
The final assembly point for the Fusion is in Mexico. Buy Mexican buy a Ford, Dodge or Chevy. Go on line and check out where you car was built. Viva Mexico!!!??? (my wife loves her Camry)

I agree!
Everybody hates Toyota, but will drive a Porshe or VW, Lamborghini, Passat, . We hate Toyota will dine out on Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Greek, Indian food.
Except for the Native American Indians, we are all foriegners, but we are also hyppocrits because we forget where we came fromwhen we bash Foreigners for being in “our” country!

Yup
you have been putting into words what I have been wondering for a long time too. Problem is, you won’t get a satisfactory answer to your questions because like you said, a lot of peeps don’t really know why they hate Toyota. They better get used to it because over the next few years, I bet there will be other car makers entering Nascar whether we like it or not.

i think...
majority of those that started that argument, liked NASCAR back when it was ACTUAL stock car racing, when they still ran at the Rock and Richard Petty and David Pearson had a hot rivalry. I think it’ll blow watching a thousand different makes in a race, but having Toyota in town with Chevy, Ford, and Dodge; in which the later two really haven’t had much luck anyways. Is awesome.
