Is this thing on? Can anyone hear me? This isn’t my first blog about this.
MY friends-PLEASE do NOT send me mass messages. I am so tired of having to delete buds(who apparently aren’t really buds anyways as they aren’t listening).
There are people here who I really respect and would like to call friend. But the FIRST thing they do is send me a mass message saying “look at my blog”. WHY? Do they ever read mine? Should I send them a mass message to this blog? Should I read their’s and stroke their ego all the while they are ignoring mine asking them to please respect my wishes? I don’t think so,friends.
I allmost had to delete Rubbercatfish and not because he abuses the mass message but because he has a friend(that has allready been deleted from my list)who wanted to reply to all.
If I want to talk to you,I will come by your profile,send YOU a message,or catch up with you in a blog. All I ask is for the same courtesy.

I don’t care if someone else tells you it’s o.k to send mass messages. They are only speaking for themselves,not for me as I can speak for my darn self. This is a community and 1 size shoe ain’t gonna fit all.
So if you can ever quit focusing on yourself and actually listen to what I’m saying,you may figure out why we’re not buds. I have a pile of requests that I’m afraid to accept again. Some people eventually figured it out and are back on my list without further problems. Some I re-sent requests to and they still haven’t figured it out or just don’t care.
If I could get a moderators feed back my question is….Can I flag them all as spam? I’m not wanting to make someone a bunch of work,I just want it to stop. I wish there was an option/preference to block the mass garbage.
To my “true friends” or at least the like minded people who are not driving me(or anyone else)crazy with junk mail,I appreciate the heck out of you. You are all priceless and help make this an enjoyable and pleasant experience for me. I appreciate each and everyone of “my buds”.
My personal favorite(sarcastically)is the mass messages "so and so’s “club” is open". ???? So? Why wouldn’t you send that to the crew members? I don’t do clubs. But you wouldn’t know that would you? Because you don’t want to have a two-sided relantionship.

someone heard me this time.
I think a crew message should go to the crew members. Maybe people could try sending their friends an invite to the crew.
Tab’s used to be opened daily and I’ve allways been able to find it all by myself when I choose to. If I’m on line I’m doing what I want. If I’m not why would I care the next day?
Up until a month ago I hung out here all the time. Just not in chats. I did on occassion stop and visit with Luv and she would come by in person occassionaly to invite me.
Most of the time I get a message about a blog,I’ve just been there and had nothing to say. Then I get a message-oh boy someone wants to talk to me-nope they just want me to look at their blog. Now I’ve wasted time that I could of been reading blogs looking for 1 I want to interact with.
The bookmark feature is for the writers who blogs you enjoy. Then you can go check all their’s out if you’ve been gone awhile.
Lastly funny you should mention it Karin,yours was the RE that got me having to contemplate deleting catfish.

Mass pm are okay. I don’t expect a personal message for a group or crew notice. I just get sick of the “RE’s” about that pm. I don’t want to hear everybody’s replies. Mass pm’s are okay, but :“reply to all” should be banned forever!

with a explanation. If I open Tab’s, I’ll send a mass PM to all my buddies to let them know about it. Tab’s is not open on a daily basis at a certain time like some others so when it is open, people would like to know. I’d like to know when somebody else is opening Tab’s as well. You do not hang out much, 29, like a lot of other people do so I do understand you getting annoyed over a PM of this nature.
When I write a blog that required research and took me a while to write, I would like people to read it and therefore I send a mass PM to my buddies. Not for every little blog I write, only the ones that took some work to produce. Trust me, I am not a attention seeker and my mass PMs about a blog I have written are never because I wanna say: Look at me. And I think people that know me would agree with that. Too many times blogs get shoved to subsequent pages because of the one-liner blogs. I do want to know when one of my favorite writers posted a blog and I hate to miss any of them and the only way they can make sure I see it is by sending out a mass PM.
The Re:Re: PMs are the real problem on this site. The offenders know how most of us feel about them and they just don’t care as they continue to do it. I have deleted buddies because of it and will continue to do so if I have to. Most of the times the Re:Re: PMs are convos between 2 members and I could not care less what they have to say to each other.
29, I just checked and for some reason you are not on my buddy list so you must have deleted me already and I am no longer a thorn in your side. No hard feelings about that, it’s all good and I understand.

LOL! I hate them too! I’d say about 95% of the time, if it has “RE” in front of it, it gets deleted without being read. Unless I was already having a conversation with you, or if it was a reply to a PM I sent.

Pretty much agree with you
I don’t want to discourage my buds and crews I am on from sending me pm’s but there are times when I spend more time than I would like sifting thru real personal messages and the mass messages. I suppose given a choice, I would rather have too many than not enough, though. I enjoy getting a heads up on certain blogs but not all of them. If you are my bud or I am on your crew, please don’t kick me out for this. But, maybe we could use a little more discretion in the mass message feature.
