Pit Crew Challenge B+
At least Jamie wouldn’t get booed during driver intros before the race by losing in the second round to the 88.
Greg Biffle does his best to stare down McMurray in round one. Too Funny, but quite possibly the worst Clint Eastwood impersonation ever.
We were spared from listening to the announcers gush about how wonderful Kyle and the 18 team are for a few hours.
Red Bull and coffee beans…food of the Gods and how to get stuff done.
Truck Race A+
Todd Bodine really did look like his dog just died talking about accidentally wrecking Ron Hornaday.
Always good to see a first time winner. Congrats to the 88 team and Matt.
We were spared from listening to the announcers gush about how wonderful Kyle is for a few hours.
Burnout Competition A++
Best part of the whole Saturday. It was too short though. More drivers in it next year, please.
All Star Showdown F
Single-file racing is a waste of my time, money, and energy. I will not be purchasing tickets to see that mess in person.
It would have been nice if AJ Almandingy could have apologized for wrecking Sadler in his post race interview. I guess he was in shock like the rest of us though. You’re welcome, Dingbat.
No pale, pasty Frenchman running nekkid down pit road this year. Or any year for that matter.
We were spared from listening to the announcers gush about how wonderful Kyle is for a few hours.
All Star Race F++
Humpy went above and beyond for the fans this year.
Charlotte was a gracious host to the fans as always.
The fan vote and Kasey winning the million was the highlight and a well-deserved win for that whole group.
The brainchild that is the COT just ruined it. Again, single-file racing is a waste of my time, money, and effort and I will not be purchasing tickets for the fall race at Lowes this year.
During the driver intros for the main event, all the drivers and crews looked so tired. They were about as energetic and enthusiastic as a group of retirement home residents filing in for basket weaving class.
Even the full moon was like, yeah whatever.
We were spared from listening to the announcers gush about how wonderful Kyle is for a few hours.
Dale Jarrett
I was fine until Ned said the prayer. I can stand anybodies tears but DJ’s. What’s more sad to me was the way his career ended. It wasn’t worthy of his talent or his ability behind the wheel…Time marches on.
Jamie McMurray
I roll my eyes a lot now. I swear out loud more often. I kick stuff. At least I’m keeping busy. “Bitter party of one, you’re table is ready…”
I’ve decided Jamie is not allowed to retire until after I am dead. I can’t go through that twice.
Carl Edwards
He didn’t catch and pass Kyle Busch. He passed Kyle while he was falling back through the field. Why they pitted and did nothing to the car while the rest of the field made adjustments was a little odd.
Kasey Kahne
GOOD JOB! Pass some of that good luck on to Elliott if you would, kind sir!

That was another surprise too
On the restarts I kept counting – 1 Juan-thousand, 2 Juan-thousand, 3 Juan-thousand, and he didn’t wreck!
