A couple of my favorite races this year….were flops and that is too bad. TWO of the most exciting tracks on the planet…Bristol and Talladega. The Bristol race was terrible to start it off. The new pavement needs some cracks and some tarnish. What we HAD there is why all those seats sell out years in advance. The new pavement at Talladega…no problem, The COT…maybe a problem, Nascar rules for the COT and a few other mandates, a problem. The FANS want an exciting race, but they want that for most of the race..not just the end. If they don’t fix it soon, fans are going away, I promise. And, that would be a real shame. I’m worried, and sorry…but I miss the old days. Are you listening Nascar?

Snoozers
Bristol was a total snoozer and Talladega was headed that way until the last 15-20 laps. Heading for Charlotte tomorrow so hopefully there will be some action!
