That Appeared to me......
to be much harder hit than the one that killed Dale. It was absolutely amazing he walked away, and one of the hardest hits I have EVER seen, and I have seen a LOT of them. A definite testament to all the things NASCAR has done RIGHT with the new car…stop calling it COT by the way…lol..and the safer barriers…Amazing! That should make some highlight reels for awhile to come. I don’t think he even had a LIMP! I would bet he will be sore though.

Can't argue with a Catfish
On the glass half full side: I agree completely, the COT is amazing. Great to see him walk away and wave.

Well sam...
How about we just use the old car and try that again? Stuff happens. Wether its oil dry, rain. a blown tire, or just a plain old fashioned wreck, that car IS safer than anything they ever had!
But yeah, if you want, just concentrate on quick dry and not the fact a driver lived and was able to not only walk away, but walk away unscathed!

Congrats to NASCAR?
How about cleaning up the track after the oil spill and leaving a ton of speedy dry out there? Oh, its ok to qualify – go on out there. The Crown Royal car almost lost it right before Mc Dowell ate it.

My hubby
who is not a NASCAR fanatic, saw the wreck as it happened, kept saying to me, “Babe, he did not make it.” My response was, “Oh, yes he did!” Hubby was shocked and surprised that Michael McDowell walked away for that wreck.
