well
when we were at NHMS a fan threw a cooler over the fence at the start/finish the cooler bounced off the 24’s hood, the track owner had the local cops remove that fan and charged him with interferance of a stock car race. was fined according to local paper 2,500.00 and spent the nite in jail. the fan was from N.C., that same fan was barred from NHMS for life.
his picture is posted at the track he will not be allowed in period.

Well...
Hubby and I talked about this when it happened today. If that had been at Bristol we would have thrown the SOB on out of the stands. That is total BS that someone does that and on the dang start of the race. Makes you think WTH were they thinking!!! Most people at the start of the race are sooooo ready for the race that a caution is dang sure not what we want. I’m with ya’ll ban there butts from coming back in. And there is a sign at Bristol that states this, just don’t know if it means you can’t throw the idot beside you that does something stupid.

Escort them out, ban them from the track
and quite possibly jail time( a few days tops!)
Why so harsh?
Imagine that stupid ole shirt gets jambed up in a brake rotor and causes a tire to lock up and puts a driver into the wall. We all saw what happened to Denny and Truex Jr due to a little water in the tank.
Suppose it had hit the windshield and caused the driver to flinch slightly? Sure, sounds like no big deal, but a slight flinch at speed can cause serious consequences.

well
if they have thrown something at jpm , they sould get a medal(jk,jk,jk).nascar did the right thing, throw a caution and make sure the fans don’t get thier moneys worth.the fans will then become the judge and jury for the rotton eggs.the drivers have too much on thier plate already, and avoiding thrown objects sould not be one of them
