I was born in the heart of NASCAROLINA and used to go to races with my grandpa at places like Hickory and North Wilkesboro. My family moved to VA when I was fairly young and I got “separated” from racing for long while, but I’m back with a vengence now.

Mark Martin is my sentimental favorite. He is a racer’s racer and wonderful role model for us all. When he’s driving I’m cheering him on.. BUT Tony Stewart captured my attention when Mark “retired” and I’ve been a SMOKE fan ever since.

Of course, I’m always glad to see any of the Virginia boys do well too… Denny, Jeff B, Elliot… love to hear that central VA accent on Speed!
