Watching my first race on my new 61 inch HD tv and watching the number 07, Clint Bowyer, crossing the finish line on his roof. I thought I was going to die. It was amazing. That’s when I knew I had to start watching and become a fan.
My other NASCAR moment is coming November 3rd, my wife and I are going to our first NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway. We are really excited. We’re going with a group of 3 other couples all NASCAR fans. Now if the weather holds out it should be a perfect weekend. GO Kyle Busch!
OK we went to the race at Texas Motor Speedway November the 3rd, 2007. I was literally blown away after the very first lap. I’ve been watching since this spring and no way was I prepared for the actual speed of the cars as they came screaming by the stands. We were on the back stretch right before turn 3 and 39 cars came screaming by at 190 MPH. I had never experienced anything like that before. My wife and I are both hooked and are already planning to go again in April. If you have never been to a NASCAR race before you owe it to yourself to go at least once. Man, I love this sport!!!!

A teacher in Irving Texas, yes Cowboys country. But I haven’t liked them much since the Landry days.

My other favorite sport is hockey and the Dallas Stars.
I also ride a Harley. Rode to Sturgis on my bike with a group once and had a blast.
