I would have to say when Dale Earnhardt Sr died. I didn’t watch a lot of races back then and I didn’t see the one he crashed in, but I know he was well loved by his family, especially JR and all of his fans still mourn him. He was a great man and watching some past footage, a great driver.

I am a 36 year old mother of 3 beautiful children that happens to live just blocks away from the racing capital of the world, home of the Indy 500 and the Brickyard 400! I consider myself “new” to being a die hard NASCAR fan with only 2 years under my belt with consistently watching the races every Sunday. I have never been to a race, but one day that will change. I would love to go to the first race of the year in Daytona and I would love to go to the Brick Yard here in Indy. It is root root root for the #48 team and of course his teammate #24! I have always been a Gordon fan, even when I really didn’t get into watching the races, I have kept up on Gordon’s career. I am always amazed with what is new in NASCAR and how they keep making these cars safer and faster. I love to watch the determination that all of the drivers put out each week to do the best they can.

I have a great love for music, I listen to all kinds from Country to Alternative Rock and pretty much everything in between. I love to watch football, I am a Colt’s fan come win or lose.
