I recently graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Public Administration. Currently I am working on some Professional Development courses for my career. Before college I served for five years and ten months in the United States Navy. While in the military, I was stationed onboard the USS KAUFFMAN (FFG-59). While a member of the Kauffman crew, I took part in two six-month deployments to Europe, and two two-month deployments to the Tropics. I am from a small town in the western half of Kansas. That town is LaCrosse, KS (I have added some pictures if you are interested in seeing them.) I knew everyone in my high school and was related to a few of my classmates. It was peaceful growing up in a small town, with the ability to get away from everyone in a flash. When I go home, I enjoy going for drives through Rush county.
