    Today is a somber day in our community. We have lost a member that has been a great buddy and mentor to many of us. Racecar1947----Jerry ---A Racer and a true blue friend. Jerry will be missed here. And all his great stories and the pictures and the knowledge of the sport will all be missed here in our community. If you did not get the chance to meet Racecar (Jerry) you really missed out on a great guy. His blogs and pics can still be admired and his memory will live on in our community and our hearts.

      Hi Kathie. It has been a sad weekend for me since I read Jerry's daughter's blog Saturday morning. I will dearly miss him.

      This is very sad. I didn't "know" him but always appreciated reading his input and insight into the Nascar world. Blessings to his family and may he rest peacefully.
