Most memorable NASCAR moment(s):

Being at Talladega in the fall of 2000 when Dale Earnhardt won his last race, and I was at the Atlanta race the following spring when Harvick won his first race after Earnhardt was lost.
Also,I got close to Jeff Gordon during the championship celebration at Atlanta Motor Speedway after the fall 2001 race. Got some good pictures but didnt get to meet him, unfortunately.

I’ve been a huge NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan since ‘93. Before that I was a Richard Petty fan until he retired at the end of ‘92. After that I was looking for a new driver to pull for. When I went to my first race at Atlanta in November of ‘93, the people I went with were talking about this young new driver named Jeff Gordon who was supposed to be pretty good!! So I started pulling for Jeff that day and have been a huge fan of his ever since!! I’ve got all his diecast, including a couple of his early sprint cars, as well as a number of hats, shirts, and jackets!! Jeff Gordon is the most talented driver in NASCAR and by the time he retires he should very well have 8 championships!! Go Jeff!!
