Married
Profile:
My name is Patrick, I,m 36, I’m married to a wonderful Wife who has recently become a Nascar fan. I have two children. A son who is 9 and has Autism and my daughter who is 5.
I watched my first cup race toward the end of the 1999 season. I saw the usual suspects winning races and knew I did’nt want to just hop on the train for the most popular driver.
After seeing Jeff battle his brother Ward at Rockingham for the win I knew this was the guy I was going to root for on Sunday.
A couple of years go by with Jeff winning a respectable amount of races. Then the problems start. Sponsorship problems and changes on the team. Tough times.
Then stepped in Richard Childress.
2006 Dover ( unfortunately it was the following week after I attend my first race in New Hampshire. ) He wins. That was a long time coming.
Jeff Burton shows all the qualities of a champion without the big trophy.
Other interests:
I collect 1/64th diecast cars for Jeff as well as sheetmetal from some of his past cars. I am starting to get into photography. I took over a hundred photos at the 2006 new hampshire race. I hope to get quite a few of them on my page.
