Most memorable NASCAR moment(s):

I sat in the sun during a caution at Martinsville for over an hour while they patched the track and argued whether it could “cause a foul” when Dale Jr.’s car flipped a big chunk of asphalt into Jeff Gordon’s radiator. Jeff was denied! He proceeded to come from about 25th place to almost win in only a few laps. Great, great race!

Profile:

I got hooked on NASCAR through osmosis, I guess. Now I’m a fanatic and fascinated with racing strategies. Quest is to attend every track before I die! Went to Eldora (T.Stewart’s dirt track) last summer to see Jeff go back to his roots; what a hoot. I bought my hubby Gordon/Andretti Racing School in Charlotte last October; he did 148 laps and hit just over 155. I’m upset that Jeff is still on the “drive for five” when he should be striving for number 7. Don’t like the rules changes very much.

Other interests:

Scrapbooking the races and friends we’ve met. Take about 1500 pictures on each trip! Tough culling through them.
