    hey yall I'm sure u all have read the story on hw mexico city got droped from the nation wide schedule and now there replacing it by going to The Newton Iowa Speedway :) :))(created by ol rusty) this blog is all for opinians and i want to know wut you think did NASCAR make the right decsion to replce mexico for this?? I thought it was a good idea cause its one more race i can go to but wut do u think??? B) ne of yall been there??? ;) WOOO Go NASCAR what a great idea!! :P :^D O:) :))

      This was a good move by NASCAR mainly because there are too many road courses in the Nationwide Series. There's only two in Cup, so why is there three in the Nwide Series where there are more inexperianced drivers.

      definetly a great move. nascar is a US based sport. yea there might have been a few fans in mexico city, but the majority is in the US. it will also cause less stress on the teams that race in it. so, it was an awesome move.

      I'm sure their were many fans in Mexico, especially with Juan on board.
      But the trouble probably wasn't worth it. Taking into consideration all the expenses for all the teams as well as Nascar transporting all the equipment, officails, Nascar stuff , and all the expenses cocured by the teams. Then start talking passports, customs, licenses, all that kind of stuff.
      Sounded like a logistical night mare.

      Anyone else planning to go?? We should get a group together. I usually go early in the morning and tailgate. Usually pretty well medicated by the time the race starts. It's a great time over there... great track!

      There wasn't much fan base in Mexico. Its a good track and should be great for the areas surrounding Iowa too.:)

      What's not to like about it?? Iowa Speedway is an AWSOME track and we moved a race from Mexico back into the country which supports American jobs as well! Way to go Rusty and Stan!! I can't wait for next August!

      i love it cuz i'm from iowa and i can see it...does anyone know the dates on this race??
