*when is the cup going to go to actual race winner's? i've been a nascar fan since the 80's. and now you don't even have to win the most race's in a season to win the cup? {that's not actually a cup at all....}. what the deuce is up with that?!?! maybe i need more beer, i don't get it......*

_Hell Mr. Caraviello, You stated that you couldn't believe all the K. Bush bashing then you undoubtedly have been in hiding. I try to be fair to all drivers but he is one driver that doesn't deserve to be treated fair. He is arrogant, cocky, smart mouth, rude, and just down right disrespectful. In order to get respect you have to earn respect or that is the way I was raised. I have a son who is 38 yrs old and if I ever heard him talk like Kyle has and be as disrespectful to people as he has my son is not to old to get in trouble and I can still keep him in line. My dad died when I was 33 and up until that day, if he told me to go jump off a bridge I would have done it. It is called "RESPECT". One more thing, jealousy isn't in the picture
because he isn't anything to be jealous of. You said he had a pretty girlfriend, well, anyone can have a pretty something if you have money. Believe me, the girl is blind but not stupid._

So, Kyle Busch has fans? I guess "mystery" horsepower can boost anyone's career, no matter how illegal it might be. As to the all the whining about the 99 bump-and-run....well, Carl ate Kyle's lunch, plain and simple.

Who thought Carl won the race the wrong way? Who in NASCAR administration, officiating, or ticket holders thought his mild bump and run was wrong? Did not Kyle commit the same tactic a few seconds later on Carl and it didn't work. Hasn't Kyle won may races this year in many series dumping people using a more of an aggressive form of that tactic. I know you have to write a fair story so you can achieve a paycheck, but it seems that opinion is either squashed or absent on NASCAR.com when the big boys write, especially about one particular driver (Kyle)that seems to have a bigger anti-fan base as Junior has a fan base. And that anti-fan base is justified in most of their "educated" arguments.

Great article. It's truly unbelievable how many people will fall for anything that comes down the pike. If someone said Kyle is a cheater and Toyota has more horsepower, then by God it must be true. Who cares what the true facts are, I read it in a blog or heard it from the media. I am so sick of this type of thinking. I was not happy with Toyota replacing Chevy at JGR but I am a fan of the driver not the manufacturer. As far as Kyle goes, I welcome him to JGR as a teammate to my favorite drivers. If Denny or Tony can't win I'm glad Kyle does. He reminds me of several other drivers that people loved to hate. Once again, thanks for the article and the true facts.

its become apperent to me after taking a look at hendrick motor sports and last years 600 that casey has not been given the same opps that his team mates have .i do not claim to know any thing about the relationship between casey and d grubb but its my thought that grubb should be casey's crew chief not gustufson . i realize that is an unpopular staement but look at the stats grubb has a daytona 500 win under his belt as well as a 600 win with mears all beit the 500 win was as a sub for the oft suspended crew chief of the 48 but its still a win. donnie wingo couldnt get him the win at canasi nor could any one else so to make the change they made over the off season just made little to no sence for mears ( i know they wanted jr to do well out of the box )i feel mears is one of those filler drivers on a team like this but i think he would be a great fit elsewhere as a driver to build around but the wins are not going to come at hendrick for him hes has to compete against his team mates for those wins and honestly if all things are equal mears is not in that list of drivers that his team mates are so i understand the whole spring board effect that last seasons win should have ignighted but look at what he has had to deal with this season and i think the bigger question is is there any continuity on the 5 team compared with the 88,24,48 my guess would be no
