its a shame that we are even talking about this, i mean for a family sport you would think that this kind of thing would not occur.
i would hope that racing would be one place were alcohol and drug abuse would not appear. nascar does not need to go through what major league baseball has and is going through due to the illegal use of an illegal substance. has racing gotten so competitive that drivers will do anything to win? I pray to god not. lets get the drivers back to basics before it gets worse, lets do it now. i love watching the races and would hate to see anything that would demean what the sports stands for.

Time will tell
Crazy only time will tell if Nascar is on top of it or not. for the integrity of the sport i hope they are. having rules and regulations are great, but like our government has shown us they are both worthless unless they are enforced, I hope Nascar is up to the challenge.

I guess. The very good thing is that NASCAR has a very strict policy in place and better yet, is fast to enforce that policy.
Other sports seem to deny, deny, deny until the evidence is overwhelming (or a player does something so horrific it can’t be denied any longer).
As soon as there is even a hint of wrong doing – even with prescription meds – NASCAR is on it immediately.
