No progress has been made..
..it’s like they’ve given up on fixing the problem, really dissapointing yesterday. Same problems all over again.

Time for a Walkout
I encourage everyone to enter the chat tonight at 7 p.m. and just remain silent throughout. It’s called a quiet protest.

Chat
was open at 11:50 and they asked everyone to leave. It now is closed apparently. Did they wait until race time to actually address some problems?

Missing races
As some of you know, being in the UK, my access to races is very limited. But I didn’t mind too much, as long as I had the chatroom, and my buddies in it, to keep me up to date on what was happening. Once again, last night, I kept getting the message the room was full. Okay, so the race was postponed, but I didn’t find that out until this morning. But it’s just not right. The old chatroom, no matter how many were in there, I never had a problem getting in. With the new one, well, its just too slow, unstable, and thats just if I can get in!! Sorry, but If it continues I will probably not bother trying much. The chatroom used to be more then just a place to, for me, “read” the race. I used to feel at home there. Now I feel like a dumb Brit again. And I dont like feeling like that.

I'm sorry
I realize that everyone is aware of the chat problems and they are working to fix it. I realize that it’s not the moderator’s fault that the chat program is not working as it should. What I would like answered is who should be here telling us exactly why they could not get a working program before the start of the season. Who is it that should have had this working with the proper options for a professionally ran website. This is not acceptable for an amateur website that is ran by 12 year olds.
I’ve been patient since the first day that chat reopened for speedweeks. The problems became painfully apparent to everyone then. It’s been over 2 weeks and the only improvement has been that the font is slightly larger. The freezes are as apparent as ever. The options for private messaging, setting font, and many other options that are the standard for any professionally ran chatroom should be there if there is any sort of proper technical staff working on the issues. The lag and freezing issues should have been addressed long before the first day the chat opened.

say it aint so
i to tried to get in the other day and was told the chat room was full. i am finding myself looking for different avenues to get my nascar fix other than nascar.com. it is really disappointing to find some of the features that i had come to like and use alot gone from the hip. i guess its all in the name of progress, but as for now i will stay off this community till something is done about this fiasco.
