A WET New Hampshire!

Hi, friends! I just landed back home from New Hampshire. Along the way, I saw the Empire State Building and the Washington Monument due to my schedule. What a sight!

And you must make a trip to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, it’s so beautiful. It’s lush, it’s green, and has one of the most gorgeous lakes I have ever seen, Lake Winnipesauke.

On Saturday I interviewed Josh Wise, Landon Cassill, Bryan Clauson, Matt Hirschman, James Cavali, and new phantom, Joey Logano. It was awesome getting to know their personalities. Landon Cassill is so animated and James Cavali said he was known as the ‘bad boy.’ LOL!

I always like to ask the drivers if they are involved in working on their own cars and Josh Wise said that he was very involved in that process. He said that it makes racing even more special when he finishes well because he was a part of making the car good that day. We can all respect that.

Joey Logano was one of the most eager drivers I’ve met since meeting Kyle Busch. He’s just ready to race anything he can get his hands on. All the guys were great, and now I’m definitely one of their biggest fans. I look forward to seeing them as the new crop of NASCAR superstars. I’m sure we’ll have them back out to the Sprint Experience soon. Always make sure to stop by and see us there before heading into the track. Aside from always giving out FanView rentals, hats, and more, you’ll also never know which surprise guest might stop by!

So what did you think of the race? There were definitely some interesting moments (what happened with Juan Pablo Montoya and Kyle Busch)? As you saw, it was Kurt Busch who came out ahead of the storm.

Victory Lane was moved into the garage due to the rain, but it was still fun as usual! We were all crammed in there and when the champagne sprayed, everyone got it…not just the crew and me! Ha ha!

The funniest (and scariest) part of the day for me was leaving the track. Right when we left the worst part of the storm hit. I had my suit on and a bright yellow poncho running through the rain. We had to stop in the tunnel on the way out of the track because the lightning got so bad. The funny part was while I stood there in 6 inches of water waiting on the lightning to die down, fans starting taking my picture. So I’m sure there are some pretty hilarious photos of me stuck in the tunnel absolutely drenched! HA HA! I’d love to see that!

What a day. It was fantastic and as always, a great adventure. I love this sport, and I think we have the BEST FANS in the world! Until next time…

Blessings,
Anne-Marie

P.S. My girl Monica is going to be holding down the fort for the next two weeks at Daytona and Chicago. My next race will be at Indy, yeah! So make sure you go by and hang with her at the Sprint Experience, tell her I said to hook you up with a free Sprint Fanview rental. Also, I wanted to give a shout out to the two lovely young fans that hung with us all day the Experience, Nicole and Kelsey! You girls rocked!
