Hi race fans!!! Well, Dover certainly delivered. After a successful appearance in Fayetteville, Arkansas, I have finally made it back in front of my computer.

It’s been an amazing and tiring week, I feel like I have been in a blender. The Monster Mile proved to be just as ferocious as always. Can you believe that wreck? I know you guys didn’t like seeing some of your favorite drivers: Tony Stewart, Dale Jr., Denny Hamlin (just to name a few), getting all banging up so early into the race. OUCH!

Despite that, I had a great time. Returning to the Dover race and standing next to that Monster Trophy again in Victory Lane with Kyle Busch was just as cool as last year (yep, got drenched AGAIN, LOL).

If any of you were there I know that you saw the GIGANTIC new Monster statue outside the track, so awesome! He’s one mean looking monster and I heard he likes to snack on race cars, ha-ha.

There was a huge amount of fans at the race and we had a good time. At one point, at the Sprint Experience, we did a little impromptu “Sweet Caroline” sing along. Karaoke has nothing on us!!

The fans make any sport, and NASCAR is no exception. The absolute greatest opportunity I am blessed with is the opportunity to meet you, the fans, and I had the opportunity to take a photo with the nicest man. We got to talking and he told me that his wife had passed away only two weeks ago. I confessed one of my closest friends had also passed two weeks ago. Both of them were about the same age. I gave him a hug and let him know that I was truly sorry for his loss and he told me that coming to the race was helping him smile for once in a long time.

That’s what I love about racing. It’s a place where you can go and just let go of your worries and have a good ol’ time. It’s such a great sport and you, the fans, are what will make it stay that way. It cannot be said enough how much I love meeting you each week, it has been some of the best memories of my life. So thank you…I look forward to the rest of the year with all of you!!!! See you next in Michigan!

P.S. I want to give a shout out to all the people who attended from Wal*Mart at the University of Arkansas that came out to see me this past week. It is great to see the grand ol’ U.S. of A. play host to so many interesting people all the way in from China, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan, just to name a few. It was AMAZING to see all of you there and what a great group of people you are! We had so much fun, thank you for having us!!!
