Nationwide Racing

Last night Brian Vickers participated in the Dollar General 300 @ Chicagoland Speedway. He drove the Dollar General #10 for Braun Racing. Brian had the car to beat all night long along with teammate Denny Hamlin in the Braun #32. A loose wheel and a speeding penalty (which Brian did not contest) put Brian 2 laps down. Three quick cautions put Brian in the Lucky Dog position and put him back on the lead lap restarting 19th. Brian’s car was extremely fast but the long green flag runs left the field too spread out for Brian to catch eventual winner Kyle Busch (yes again—that makes 13 for Gibbs Racing in Nationwide). Brian did however finish 4th, giving his car, and race sponsor, Dollar General a top 5.
