Banana Bread

Nothing is as good as Grandma’s fresh HOT banana bread. Right out of the oven with butter!

3 Bananas (RIPE), mashed
1 Cup Sugar
½ Cup Butter
2 Eggs
¼ Tsp Salt
3 Tbsp Sour Milk
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1½ Cups Flour

Combine and mix all of your ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mixing by hand is recommended. Place the dough in a bread pan and bake slowly in a 350° oven.

To check if it is done stick a tooth pick in the middle of the loaf. If the pick comes out clean, it’s DONE!! Best sliced and served hot with butter and maybe even a little honey!

That’s all I have for dessert besides instant cake mixes! I’m not a huge dessert person! I grew up with parents who worked for NABISCO, so I am kind of burned out on sweet stuff!

Enjoy!!
