I’m a crappy crew chief. Fire me. Work and all that crap has kept me from keeping up with this site. Do cut me some slack - I just got back from Las Vegas. Yeah, my man Jeff took it hard into the wall. But I must say the facilities and the the night life are great there.
I am taking away my endorsement for Lincoln, Nebraska’s racing bar “The Pit Crew.” I put up with crappy service there any time I went for a night race (the Sunday Dude that works by himself rocks) but unfortunately cannot redeem the place. I was tired of having to wait on myself, beg them to to put the sound on the race and argue when they turned on the juke box. Some day when I win the lottery I am going to build a real racing bar here. I will let you “locals” know if I ever find a suitable replacement in the mean time. Until then, I am not giving that stuck up little bratty boy Friday and Saturday night bartender a single cent more of my money. I’m psyched for the season and am looking forward to ‘chatting’ racing with all of you. Thinking of inking my allegiance to the sport on my skin. The only problem? Numbers change, paint schemes change, heck, even the name of the series changes. Still thinking on that one. Good to catch up on emails from all of you. I am going to try to be better at this, I promise!
