With the help of his team mate Kurt Bush, Ryan Newman upsets all with a win at the 50th running of the Daytona 500.

All eyes were on the HMS and Gibbs camps all week long and nobody looked at any of the Dodges to come out with a win.

6 out of the top 10 spots were filled with Dodges today. Was it that Dodge wasn’t showing all of their cards all week long just to make a bigger showing in the 500?

Well whatever they did they did it right. Nobody can ever take away the win from Newman or his Alltel team. Him and Kurt defeated the giant together and now maybe the new kids on the block to watch.

Let’s just hope that this is the first win of many to come this year and now we can go after that championship trophy.

Once again, way to go Ryan and the Alltel team and to Roger Penske for also getting his first Daytona 500 victory.
