This another squshed effort from our Pole Sitter,Patrick Carpentier could only manage a 31st finish in Loudon today, not that this is such a bad thing considering the amount of confususion that happened at the end of the race, with the Bush/Montoya banging going on and the earmark of McMurray slamming Jr,but that is called racing, either way here is the final results….2008 Unofficial Race Results : LENOX Industrial Tools 301

I was impressed with
Carpentier getting the pole. I also saw the interview with him prior to the race and was impressed again. He seems to be very humble, down to earth and personable. Unlike some other open wheeler who shall remain nameless. Carpentier knows that he is pretty much learning to walk all over again when it comes to stock car racing. He did not expect to win the race, just lead a lap and maybe finish in the top 20s. He came close to his goal. I think he may make it in Nascar. I for one will be keeping a eye on him.
