Don’t you know that Big E is pacing the clouds up in heaven wondering “What the Hell is that [/] doing to my son?!”
Personally I do not think her decision was of a financial merit, but a personal one.
There is nothing worse than a woman scorned! BUT….had she not been the Greedy Witch of the North she would still have Jr, the 8 AND Budweiser!
All these new deals going on at DEI SOUND good, but only time will tell if they were as good as they SOUND!
Personally I think she let her emotions get in the way of her common sense!
Either way, Jr will continue doing what he has always wanted to do only his money won’t be going to DEI anymore!
Whatever number Jr picks he will make it proud! He will continue to win races and hopefully a championship.
The greedy step mom won’t live forever! Then Kerry will probably take over and Lord Help DEI!!!!!

The Wicked Stepmother is dead, Taylor will be old enough to inherit DEI. She’s the only one who will ever take over. Kerry & Jeffery will never have ownership anymore than Kelly & Dale Jr. will.

Next driver of the number 8
Rumor is, the next named driver of the number 8 is down to Kerry Earnhardt, or Kenny Wallace, if, for any reason Kerry is unable to spell his name, as he signs the contract. If Kenny Wallace gets the ride, no need to worry about sponsorship, as you will never see the car lead a race, to where it gets television coverage anyway. Dave Marcis already refused the ride, stating that any company dumb enough to lose the hottest, cash generating driver in NASCAR, is not a company that he would be affiliated with. You heard it here first.

SHAME SHAME on Theresa/DEI
FREE THE NUMBER 8!
I don’t think this is the legacy that Big E had in mind when he formed DEI. I think he saw DEI nuturing the TALENT of its drivers. Now it’s just about nuturing Theresa’s greed and need for control.
Theresa should realize that DEI was founded on the talent of Ralph Earnhardt, Dale Sr. and then Dale Jr. She just happened to marry one of the best drivers in history and tragically he died too young. Let the number 8 follow the talent where it belongs.

God help the driver of the #8 next season. He will need all the help he can get! I have the strong feeling that the #24 will no longer be the only car to be a beer can target.

NASCAR leases the numbers every year. NASCAR should step in and allow Dale to take the #8 with him. It is linked to the driver in the publics eye not the company.
I will BAN anything DEI does. #3 must be rolling in his grave for leaving her in control.!
