The last Cup Series broadcast for FOX was delayed for rain, but was like any other race, with good racing and a nice finish. However, the entire broadcast was overshadowed by what occured at about 1pm est, when former Nascar chairman Bill France Jr. died. France, who had battled cancer since 1999, was 74.
