multi player
i agree i was very disappointed with not having multi player on 08, hope they add it to 09. Me and my son race a season at 100 % laps and cautions and i miss that . I drive a truck for a living and thats part of what we do when i get home for my 3 days off. We still do race it on 06 but graphics not the same. i still race 08 while on the road. Anybody give me some idea of how i can hook up xbox live thru my wireless card on my laptop then me and him could possibly race online.

Ahhh,
I know what you mean now! Yeah not having MP on 1 console hurts! I have a friend who I’ve been trying to get into NASCAR for about 3 years now. I got him hooked on ‘06 but when I tried to play 08 with him, we had to take turns. That wasn’t too much fun considering we liked running ‘Dega or Daytona together as drafting buddies. Lets hope they fix that in 09!

I haven't tried
racing online. None of my buddies have a ps3 and when they come over we can’t race against each other. We used to spend alot of time drinkin and racin, now we have to take turns. It’s just not the same.

is 08 on the PS3 not online multiplayer? If so thats suxs! Gotta agree with the lincense thing in 08’ it did suck. I think what sucked even worse was the Caution Flag situation. Don’t know about the PS3 but on the 360 version causing a Caution would automatically put you 1 lap down and then there was the whole Black Flag problem… wow come to think of it, ur right! 08’ wasn’t all that (but it’s still fun to race other NASCAR fans on this game).

that 09 is better than 08. I have nascar 08 for ps3 and it’s the worst nascar game I’ve played yet. You have to get licenses for each type of track which is nowhere what really happens. Ea sports decided to make their own nascar rules and failed miserably. Also have you ever heard of a 1 player race game?
